Maldives

The Maldives are interesting, because despite being a tiny country in South Asia, they love films. They have a thriving film industry and, delightfully, they also love horror. They don't love subtitles, though (because why should they? They're making films locally for themselves), but they do release them on DVD, or did at DVD's peak. They're entirely streaming now.

With the aid of Gemini I've narrowed down the potentially available titles (because even though they exist, actually finding a copy is another matter) into three blocks; the ones I can reasonably follow without subtitles, the ones I'll struggle to follow, and the ones that are talky dramas so won't make any sense.
